The Plot
Growing up in the same community, Andile and Zanele have known each other their whole lives. Such friendships relate to lore in which distinction and differences are put aside and words are replaced by silence. However, as they get older life starts to sweep them in opposite directions. Andile falls for his best friend’s protective lover Jessica whom the unbreakable bond between the two men helps her understand.
While Andile rekindles his family ties Zanele has some dispelling facts to grapple with. Is it the system that she has grown comfortable with or has her soul felt unsatisfied for too long? Zanele’s life loses its purpose as Anele’s life changes. In short, there is no severance even in the deepest bonds.
