The Christmas Quest will take you to a mesmerizing adventure filled with love, warmth, redemptions, and of course, holiday grooves. Blending adventure, mythology, and a tender love story that takes place on scenic snow-covered Iceland, this Hallmark Channel wonder is one of those Christmas films you will love every year without getting bored. Sarah Frost, a well-liked director, has managed to combine humor with mystery and Christmas spirit in an inspirational way towards visualization in this film.
The Plot
Stefanie (portrayed by Lacey Chabert) is a world-famous archaeology expert who specializes in the search for ancient relics but has difficulties in her personal life. After getting married to Chase (Kristoffer Polaha), her charming husband, who is a specialist in Norse languages and after the marriage came to misunderstandings, she worked pretty hard. But when the prominent museum approaches Stefanie with a request to help them with the pursuit of Yule Lads’ treasure, an ancient Christmas talisman said to be video’s 13 trouble-making folklore Christmas characters who leaves gifts for kids in Iceland, it is a different kettle of fish. The museum demand that she collaborate with Chase, the only expert in this field that specializes in ancient writings that mention in detail places where the treasure is situated.
The two were never close, but they never anticipated the other as their most formidable foe. In isolation Sara and Matthew have to battle mother nature and complete the dangerously intricate puzzles she created with her ice. Together however, they are of a single mind – to explore and expose the crypts of the resistant mountain range. Those peaks are blanketed by more than time’s shrouded wisdom, and it’s not as if they will be able to get far with other seekers of gold aware of their presence. Chase and Stefanie have a task ahead of them: rejoining forces to uncover mysteries they thought had destroyed once upon a time.
Such beauty the lovebirds in this adventure provide for the audience as they interpret the origins of Santa Claus’ helpers: it’s nothing more than raw sweetness devoid of greed, simple storytelling about sharing and charity during a magical winter festival. The flame of such devotion encapsulated into two people’s hearts is powerful, perhaps even stronger than any materialistic riches.
