Critical Reception

This film is quite different from the typical royal romance tale found in the same setting of a princess, because it features a woman who undergoes training at a military boot camp. Nonetheless, some reviewers observe that the use of forced romantic chemistry and weakly constructed characters make this film’s execution not up to scratch. In spite of some of these criticisms, the film has moving episodes, especially through Violet’s and Colonel Shep’s sign language interactions.

Cultural Significance

The film *Private Princess Christmas decided to Go onto the culture which expects to have a Christmas romance combined with a personal change which Hallmark films are repeated in doing’e more *… For the most part, I would prefer my narrative to be interpreted as an entirely different world altogether. It evokes a sense of duty and a quest for love and companionship by placing a regal element into a uniformed society. Quite intriguing, if one is in search of warm stories during the Christmas season.”
