Nightsbitch is a daytime star of 2024 black comedy horror movie directed by Marielle Heller and is an adaptation of Rachel Yoder’s 2021 novel with the same name. In the film, we see a struggling artist played by Amy Adams who has given up her torrid life of being a professional and turned into a stay at home mom which in turn makes her replace her art with something far more bizarre- the evolution of transforming into a dog.

Synopsis:
In the sleepy suburbs, a once-artist has given up her creative endeavors for the life of a stay-at-home mom. As day and night become one and she focuses on boring chores and the demands of parenting, she starts to feel a deep change coming from within. Her mothering instincts begin to evolve into dog-like features, fierce jaws, evolved senses, and an overwhelming desire to escape her responsibilities. Driven by such changes she begins a quest to find harmony between her human and animal powers, all the while crossing the lines of identity, motherhood, and freedom.
