Synopsis:

Nicole Armingaud, a country side lawyer feels suffocated with a tedious life of a mundane job and blushing relationships. Reverendly, she cons her three lovers into thinking that she is in need of a sperm aborting claiming to be pregnant, thereby twisting them into depositing money into her account for non-existing abortion. Letting go of her former life, she escapes to Paris where she is able to alter her identity to a male figure as she has always desired. This transition helps her get acquainted with the industry of betting at the obstinacies of the city and allowing her to form a reaching association with Myriam, prostitute who refers to her as ‘Solange’. Quite intimately does Nicole delve into this new version of herself while she battles out the ebbing gender fluidity and set norms leading to a deep ecological advice on self and the mind.

Sadly, there is no mention of a trailer for La Travestie on any of the online sites. For everyone who is looking for stories which questions the male vs female dynamics and helps with self-reinvention, then this movie will be a point of interest.
