Alana Higman is a true family woman, takes time to help out in her neighborhood, and is a diehard supporter of Kansas City Chiefs. For her and her family hearing that they were shortlisted for the ‘Fan of the Year’ contest is like a dream come true. But as the contest draws nearer, Alana knows she has to go thru more than just the usual fan challenges. For instance, the fierce competition posed by other fans who also love the Chiefs, the logistics which put a spanner in the works for other fans, and even her insecurities about how she fits into the expansive family legacy.

For starters, Derrick who is supposed to be one of the final judges for the competition was also taken aback at the initial stages of Alana’s zeal saying she was a little too extra. However, there seems to be no way to avoid that’s the case as Alana’s late father knows a lot about the Chiefs which was why Derrick started to warm up to the idea of Alana. He and Alana go ahead to combine forces in a bid to crush all the hurdles that faced her family. The two begin to realize how remarkable their chemistry is, but the hunt for Alana’s grandfather’s lucky hat escalates the tension. What has resulted then is a race against time to find the hat and then fight against their internal struggles. Will they be able to achieve that senseless goal before the contest ends?
