The ominous fear present in the aura reminds us of the movie ‘The Silence’ but what does this movie remind us of? My guess would be ‘Avatar’ but with more advanced technology and weapons so to speak. The trailer encapsulates everything you would want to witness in a theatrical.
Cast and Performances
The cast is fantastic and every actor in this film portrays the distinct emotional pain and intensity of their characters. Jose Rosete stars as Matt a man who tries to be practical in the midst of the struggle, and Anna Harr stars in the film as Allie who is weak at first but as the situation gets worse she grows stronger and bolder. Dustin Leighton plays the role of Jake who is a tough character with a troubled history and Caleb Thomas’s portrayal of Dylan is worth mentioning as he depicts a passionate youth that helps in the cause of the group.
The character of Rose occupies a pivotal position in the film thanks to the terrific performance turned in by Alaina Laethem; she not only displays strength but also showcases creativity in this role. Adam Michael Gold’s Ethan is a man forced to save the day reluctantly while Titus Covington’s malevolent alien villain is terrifying in his portrayal. The relationships formed by the characters along with the threat of the aliens create another classic tale of human vs aliens which all the viewers across are sure to relish.

Regardless of what the odds suggest, the survivors retain their hope because they have each other. The horror film approaches the audience’s compassion by demonstrating concepts such as how to develop trust in times of danger and how to make sacrifices in order to prevail. Unknown, it turns out, becomes an opportunity for everyone to resolve their own internal issues while also making some responsible decisions that will reveal their true strengths.
