This movie show-cases Andrea Laing in her role as Zoe, who battles a murderous yule log in the preceding section of the film. After all that Ian does in the first movie, Zoe seeks to escape her damaging past and relocates to a different country. Unfortunately, the killing yule log does also have some travel of its own, culminating into a number of bizarre and macabre occurrences which bare a resemblance to comedic elements in Christmas love stories. It touches on PTSD, survivor’s guilt, search for a happy ending, as well as providing a good amount of comedy intertwined with horror.
